Abbie Smith - 03 Aug 2006
After an amazing upheavel my 3 dogs, Romeo, George & muffin and i were trying to settle into a new house. I was becoming increasingly distressed as i would wake each morning to urinated curtains, bed linen, flooring and walls. Not only would this happen at night but during the day too. Also, when visitors came it would take a very long time for Muffin and Romeo to settle. They would deafen my guests until they left as if they had to protect me from everyone. Sally visited us and recognised the problems straight away. After the thorough visit Sally left me with a few tips i should include in my daily routine straight away (a lengthy report with everything detailed arrived later). The change in my boys was shocking. The very next night there were absolutely no marking puddles anywhere. This of course made me ecstatic!! I carried on with the training and my dogs are so much happier now with myself and my visitors. Particularly Romeo and Muffins faces have changed, instead of aggressive looking they are soft, attentive and happy. Thank you so much Sally, what would we have done without you!

We have recently rescued a beautiful cat whom we named Tulla We have a lot of experience with difficult cats and as Tulla had been rehomed four times previously and including return stays to the rescue centre this meant that Tulla was now on her ninth home in six short years. We were therefore well aware that Tulla would be a challenge We know little of her history other than she has been brought back each time due to a change in peoples circumstances It quickly became apparant that Tulla had been really badly treated and probably severly beaten not surprising then that she was terrified of everyone and eveything and men in particular She seemed unaware of how to do all the "normal " things you would expect of a cat and even something as simple as eating from a bowl seemed alien to her After some time Tulla learned to trust myself but this was more difficult with Damian as he works away and is only home at weekends,we knew it would take longer for the trust to develop weekends became a bit of a nightmare and on Friday evenings when Damian came home Tulla would go out. she then would spend most of the weekend sitting outside looking in and only being brave enough to come in when we had gone to bed She was so terrified that she would shake and her jaw would chatter and if we tried keeping her in she would become even more distressed and cry and try every means to escape or make herself invisible. we never knew it was possible for a cat to walk so close to the floor We tried everything we could think of and everything our vet suggested including medication, with no effect we were at a complete loss Then i found Sally whilst on the web looking for ideas, well the difference is absoultely incredible Sally came to the house and did a thorough assessment and by the end of her visit not only did we have a plan but Tulla was literally eating out of her hand We have now been following the plan for two weeks and have seen more improvement in Tulla in those two weeks than we had done in the previous six months Already Tulla is much more trusting of everyone including Damian and is starting to look and behave much more happy and confident We have received a written report with all of Sally's recommendations which is excellent and if i have any concerns at all Sally is more than willing to offer help and advice, her ongoing support has given us the confidence to carry on with the plan We have already recommended Sally to friends and are certain that without her genuine love and support we would not be seeing the happy, loving and relaxed cat that we are now in Tulla A big thank you from Dawn and Damian but most of all from Tulla

Dear Sally, thank you so much for all your help and advice with Hollie's aggression towards Fen. Until you came round to help, I thought my only option was to have Hollie put to sleep as people had suggested I do. I love all 3 of my dogs very much, and the thought of me taking Hollie to be destroyed was unbearable. You were the last person that I was going to ask advice from and I wish you had been the first!!! It would have saved me so much worrying, crying and panicking that there would be more blood from yet another dog fight. I couldn't believe how quickly the dogs behaviour changed after your visit. Within a couple of days, they were so much calmer and Hollie hasn't even grumbled at Fen! I didn't think it was possible, but you proved me wrong! You are brilliant! You have been so friendly and kind to me and the dogs and I don't know where we'd be now without all your help. You can read dogs so well and know exactly what needs to be done to help. We're so lucky we found you and I will recommend you to anybody I come across with a dog problem. Thank you so much, words can't express how grateful we all are. Lots of love from Amber, Martin, Elsie and Kayla. Extra special doggy kisses from Hollie, Fen and Bea! xxx
