Consultations
Consultations can either be held at the owners home or by telephone or online. Consultations are on a one to one basis (1-2 hours approx.) and involve taking a detailed history and careful observation of the pet in order to establish the cause of the problem and devise a treatment regime. It is recommended that all members of the household attend the initial consultation. A comprehensive report / Behaviour Therapy programme is sent to the owner (and to the referring veterinary surgeon if applicable) usually within 10 days of the consultation. Normally, only one consultation is necessary (depending on the nature of the problem). After the initial consultation, clients are offered telephone support to assess progress.
